Using Survey Templates in PARTNER CPRM
Survey Templates allow you to quickly add a pre-built, research-validated survey to your Question Library as a Question Group. This eliminates the need to create all your survey questions from scratch and ensures you capture key network metrics—such as trust, value, mission alignment, and relationship intensity—that link directly to PARTNER’s analytics and the VNL Insights Library.

Current Available Templates
- Default Community Partner Survey – 18 questions covering trust and value, relationship intensity, activities, alignment, and more:
- - Partner contributions and resources.
- - Most important outcomes for your network.
- - Network success and collaboration quality.
- - Trust, value, reliability, and mission alignment.
- - Network member selection for relationship mapping.
Additional templates for specific sectors and initiatives will be added in the coming months.
How to Add a Survey Template
Step 1 – Open Your Question Library
- From the left-hand menu, select Libraries > Questions.
- Click the Templates button at the top of the screen (next to Add and the language dropdown).
Step 3 – Select a Template
- In the Template dropdown, choose the survey template you want to use (e.g., Community Partner Network Survey).
- Review the template description and number of questions.
Step 4 – Save to Your Question Library
- Click Save to add the template to your Question Library.
- The questions will be grouped together as a Question Group in the correct order.
Step 5 – Customize (Optional)
- Open the Question Group in your library to edit wording, add questions, or remove questions as needed for your project.
Step 6 – Add to a New Survey
- When creating a survey in PARTNER, choose Add Question Group and select the template you saved.
- Launch your survey when ready.
Tips for Best Results
- Keep the validated measures intact when possible to maintain compatibility with PARTNER’s Insights Library.
- Use the template as a starting point—add locally-specific questions for richer context.
- Share a draft of your customized survey with team members or stakeholders before launch.
