The PARTNER CPRM Analyzer includes multiple options for styling your network maps to give them a custom, personalized look and feel. Here are instructions on how to access and leverage our analyzer style settings.
Access Styling Settings for Network Maps: Step-by-Step Instructions
First, log in to your account and open your ecosystem, then follow these steps:
1. Open the analzyer at the capture or ecosystem level depending on what data and network maps you want to style.
2. Make sure you have the "Network Map" module open at the top-right of the screen.
3. Click the "Paintbrush" icon on the left side of the analyzer screen to open the styling settings.
There are three sets of styling settings you can edit your map appearance:
Nodes: Representing members
Labels: Identifying the name of each member
Lines: Representing relationships between members
Here are instructions for each of them.
How to Style: Node/Label/Line Custom Colors
To customize the color of your nodes, labels, or lines, click the color swatch below "Node/Label/Line Color" and use one of these options to choose a custom color:
Use the color wall to pick a specific shade visually.
Use the eyedropper tool to choose a color from another web page (like your org brand colors).
Use the RGB or Hexcode options to enter a specific color or tone.
Note: Custom node colors will only display when you are not using the "Color By" settings in the Settings tab to show member data. To customize these colors, click the legend listing color on the right side of the screen and repeat the process.
How to Style: Node/Label Size and Line Thickness
To customize the size of your nodes or labels, or the thickness of your lines, use the slider below "Node Size" to increase or decrease their size.
Note: This only will affect your node size if you are not using the Node "Size By" settings to show data.
How to Style: Node Gravity (Node Spacing)
To customize your node gravity, use the slider below "Node Gravity" and click the "re-run" button at the top-right side of the analyzer screen.
This will change how closely together nodes appear and is helpful when you have a lot of nodes and need to make the map more compact. When in doubt, keep this slider at the mid-level.
