Smart CSV Validation for Member Uploads

This article shows you how to use the Smart CSV Validation tool to check for errors in your member data before uploading it into your ecosystem. This helps reduce upload failures and ensures clean, accurate records.

Validate CSV Files During Bulk Member Uploads: Step-by-Step Instructions

The Smart Validation feature automatically checks for formatting issues and missing data before your file is imported. You’ll be able to spot and fix errors directly in the upload window.

1. Log in to PARTNER CPRM and open your ecosystem.

2. On the lefthand menu, click “Members” to open your member library.

3. At the top of the screen, click the “Bulk” tab, then select “Add / Replace.”
This will open the member uploader.

4. Upload your CSV file.
As soon as the upload begins, a preview of your file will appear in a table format.

5. Review red-highlighted cells for validation issues.
Each red cell indicates a problem—like a missing required field, invalid email format, or incorrect length.



6. Hover over any red cell to see a tooltip with details about the error.
This will tell you exactly what needs to be fixed.

7. Double‑click any red cell to edit the value inline.
Your change will be re‑validated instantly. If it’s correct, the red highlight will disappear.

Notes
✅ You must resolve all errors before you can proceed.

8. Once all issues are cleared, click “Add” to finish the upload.
This tool is automatically enabled for all license types—no setup required.
