Edit Relationship Settings for Network Maps
PARTNER CPRM includes multiple ways to visualize and color your relationships (lines) based on their relationship data. This allows you to layer multiple types of data to identify patterns and outliers across your network.
For example, you can color lines (relationships) based on perceptions of trust and value or the level of intensity to see how relationships vary throughout the network.
This article shares how to access and edit your Relationship Data Settings within the analyzer:
How to Access Relationship Settings in the Analyzer
First, make sure you are logged into the platform and have the correct ecosystem open. Then, follow these steps:
1. Open your analyzer at either the ecosystem level (to map data from multiple captures) or the capture level (to map data from only that capture).
2. Click the "Network Map" option in the analyzer menu at the top-right of the screen.
3. Click the top "Handshake" icon in the left panel next to the analyzer window to open the Relationship settings tab.
How to Color Relationships by Relational Question Response
The top drop-down menu allows you to choose an relationship question response and color your lines based on the data.
To color lines (relationships) using question responses:
1. Click the select menu
2. Choose the data you want to visualize.
3. The map will update without the need to re-run it.

How to Size Relationship Line Thickness by Relational Question Response
You can now choose to display different relational question responses by varying the thickness of your relationships/lines/edges in your network maps. By pairing this with coloring by another relational question response, you can look for patterns and outliers across two different dimensions of your relationships for advanced analysis and unique insights. Here's how to use this feature:
1. Open your Relationship Settings on the left side of your network map.
2. Click the dropdown menu labeled "Size By" and choose any relational question to vary your line thickness based on their response option.
3. If you do not see your changes immediately, click the Rerun Map button at the top of the network map to refresh your new network map.
4. The Legend on the right will show what each line thickness represents. Click the response options to hide/display them like filters.
How to Filter Relationships by Relational Question Response
You can also filter out relationships based on relational question responses to only see connections that fit a specific criteria. This is helpful for exploring specific types of connections and interactions across the network and the degree of variance.
1. Click "Relational Questions" to open the drop-down menu.
2. Uncheck a relationship question to hide all members who have selected a response to that question. Check the box to display them again.
3. To filter out relationships based on their specific response options, click the drop-down menu to the right of the question to see all the response options.
4. Uncheck any specific question responses to hide lines who have that response. You will see a number showing how many relationships fit that criteria.
5. You can filter using multiple question responses to drill down your network maps to very specific types of relationships.
